The numbers behind the risk

These problems are not rare.

We do not use scare tactics. We use public data from the FBI, FTC, CISA, and Verizon so you can see why basic security matters for both families and small businesses.

Older adults 4×+

The FTC reported a more than four-fold increase since 2020 in reports from older adults losing $10,000 or more to business- and government-impersonation scams.

Businesses 31%

Verizon's 2026 DBIR says 31% of breaches now begin with exploitation of software vulnerabilities, showing why updates and patching still matter.

Everyone MFA

CISA recommends multi-factor authentication because a stolen password alone should not be enough to access an account.

Cybersecurity marketing is full of vague claims. These links go directly to the government agencies and industry reports behind the numbers so you can read them yourself.
